Shopala was founded in June of 2020 by Justin Campbell working from home in the leafy town of Hilversum in the Netherlands.
Justin has a strong background in digital advertising and through his work had requests and contact with brands looking to set up ecommerce stores in the Benelux region which sparked his interest in online shopping ads across platforms like search and social media. Through personal experience of online shopping Justin realised that purchasing a product quickly or finding it easily online was sometimes a challenge and also a frustrating process. Then came the idea ‘Why can’t I buy an item within an ad unit?’. It was at that moment than Shopala was born and testing started quickly with development company based in Berlin and Lahore called VENRUP.
Shopala’s goal is to always focus on the problem in hand and never get caught up in the solution itself. There are hundreds and thousands of online retailers looking to promote their physical and digital products with a deep focus on performance and ROAS. Shopala aims to improve conversion rates for advertisers and make a customers experience more pleasant and hassle free.
